Zesco Utd closing on two signings

Nine times Zambian Champions Zesco United are set to announce their acquisition of two players, the ZamFoot Crew understands.

According to the ZamFoot Crew sources, Zanaco midfielder Kelvin Kapumbu is believed to be on his way to Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Should the deal materialise then Kelvin will join his older brother Fackson at Zesco United.

Fackson also made his name at Zanaco before he joined Zesco as a free agent five seasons ago.

Zesco have been looking for a replacement for Zimbabwean midfielder Thabani Kamusoko and Dickson Chapa.

Thabani’s contract was not renewed why Chapa returns to Napsa Stars after his a season loan.

Elsewhere Zesco United are also set to announce the signing of Zambia Under-20 star Chipyoka Songa on a 3 year deal.

Zega have also invited unnamed Chilanga Stars winger for trials next week.
