ZESCO READY FOR EAGLES

By Chansa Kunda:Zesco United Football Club Coach George Lwandamina says his charges are ready to defend the FAZ/MTN Super League title.Lwandamina says the team is ready to take on Green Eagles in the finals of the FAZ/MTN Transitional Super league championship playoff slated for the woodland’s stadium in Lusaka.He was speaking during a pre-match press conference in Lusaka.Meanwhile, Green Eagles Assistant Coach Alex Namazaba said his team is geared to win the championship at all costs.Namazaba said despite the challenge his side are facing in overcoming ZESCO, the team is ready to lift the trophy.The double header at the Woodlands stadium will see Zanaco football Club face Buildcon in the third and fourth place play off.And ZANACO Football Club Assistant coach Dabid Chilufya says the team is looking to end the season on a positive note.Chilufya said having lost in the finals of the ABSA cup to Zesco United, finishing third will be a consolation not only to the players but also club management.Meanwhile, Buildcon Assistant Coach Tenant Chembo said he is confident the team will carry the day against Zanaco.Winners of the FAZ/MTN Transitional Super league will be crowned on Saturday during the playoff set to take place at the Woodlands stadium.
