ZESCO eye second place as they welcome tricky Nkana

The Zambia Super League action will continue on Saturday with ZESCO United’s clash with Nkana headlining the schedule.

ZESCO United will have second place in sight when they welcome 13 time Zambia Super League Champions, Nkana at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Zega Mambo are coming from a loss away in Solwezi where their all time top goalscorer and ZSL legend Jesse Jackson Were scored a brace to give Kansanshi Dynamos a 2-0 win.

Nkana on the other hand will be looking to continue from where they left off last when they beat Indeni by a lone goal.

Coach Beston Chambeshi’s side has dominated this fixture in the recent past winning seven out of the last eleven meetings.

Alex Ng’onga will be key for Nkana in this match with his goals and work rate needed for Kalampa to get anything out of this match.

ZESCO United will look to Collins Sikombe for creativity, Ian Otieno for safety between the sticks and Kelvin Mubanga Kampamba, Spencer Sautu and Winston Kalengo for the goals.

A win for ZESCO will take them to second place while Nkana will leapfrog Ndola based outfit into third place.
