ZCID not excluded-The Church

vlcsnap-2018-08-26-22h16m45s395The three church mother bodies have clarified that Zambia centre for interparty dialogue has not been excluded from the national dialogue.

Speaking on behalf of the three mother bodies, Zambia council of catholic bishops president rev. George Lungu says the church has no problem with ZCID but what they are not sure of is the stance of presidents who are key stakeholders of the parties involved.

Bishop Lungu has disclosed that the three mother bodies have written to president Lungu to get the official stance on the national dialogue.

He has told journalists in Lusaka during a media briefing that the church has been trying to get in touch with him but however this has proven difficult.

Bishop Lungu says they will wait until the time the president will be able to meet them.

And speaking at the same event evangelical fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) Board Chairperson Bishop Paul Mususu that the church is taking time it its process so as to ensure adherence to the resolution of national dialogue.

Bishop Mususu has called for patience and promises that the church is working hard to ensure that its national dialogue takes place.
