Zambian Army Praised

The African Union-AU- says it wants to learn from the Zambia Army on how it has continued to promote national and global peace and security.

AU Director of Conflict Management SARJO BAR has also praised the Zambian Defence Force for the peace and unity it continues to foster in Zambia.

Dr BAR said this when he met Zambia Army Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff, Major General GEOFFREY ZYEELE.

General ZYEELE led a delegation of senior officers from Army headquarters in a series of benchmarking meetings in Ethiopia.

While in Ethiopia, General ZYEELE toured various defence owned facilities which the Ethiopian Defence has setup.
