“ZAMBIA WON’T INTERFERE WITH OTHER COUNTRIES”

 

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says government will uphold the principle of non interference in internal affairs of other countries.

President HICHILEMA says the UPND Administration will always be ready to actively participate in all endeavours that foster peace and development.

In a speech read on his behalf by Defence Minister AMBROSE LUFUMA, the President said government will continue to cooperate with other nations to foster development.

This was during the Defence Command and Staff College 23rd Graduation Ceremony in Lusaka today.

President HICHILEMA also said the government is committed to improving the conditions of service for all men and women in the defence force.

He further said the government will support the defence force in constructing the new staff college.

And Defence Services Command and Staff College Commandant Brigadier General OLIVER MUBITA said the 1- hundred and 6 graduates have gained academic and military skills adding that they are ready to take up any assignment.

Brigadier General MUBITA said the graduates comprise people from Zambia and other countries.

He also called on the government to assist with financial resources so that the new staff college can be completed to modern standards.
