Zambia Tourism Agency Board Dissolved

Tourism and Arts Minister Ronald Chitotela has with immediate effect dissolved the board of directors for the Zambia Tourism Agency-ZTA.

Addressing the media in Lusaka today, Mr Chitotela says the decision to dissolve the board has been taken in light of the reforms the ministry is undertaking of ensuring enhanced marketing and promotion of tourism.

Mr Chitotela explains that the current board which was appointed on 13th July 2017 under the chairmanship of Mr Peter Jones was expected to expire on 12th July 2020.
