ZAMBIA THANKS JAPAN

Information and Media Minister CHUSHI KASANDA has praised the Japanese Embassy for supplementing government efforts in creating jobs for the youth.

Ms. KASANDA has thanked Japanese Ambassador to Zambia MIZUUCHI RYUTA for empowering some Zambian youths in learning how to cook Japanese food.

She was speaking after she was treated to various Japanese foods and beverages at the Japanese Ambassador’s residence in Lusaka last night.

And Mr. RYUTA said he is exploring the possibilities and potential of Zambian youths.

He said one of his mandates is promoting his country and its culture in Zambia.

And ZNBC Director General MALOLELA LUSAMBO said Zambia can learn and practice ways of preparing Japanese foods.

Mr. LUSAMBO added that ZNBC producing programmes on food from other countries is part of promoting cultural tourism.
