ZAMBIA SHINES AT WORLD CHESS OLYMPIADS

The Zambia will today face Egypt at the ongoing World Chess Olympiads in India.

The men’s team beat Denmark to set up a show down with the Egyptian Grandmasters in the third round.

The women’s team will face Kosovo in round 4 for the Olympiads.

And, Chess Federation Zambia President MUKUBULO CHILUFYA says the victory against Denmark has boosted the team’s moral.

CHILUFYA told ZNBC News in an interview that, heading into the third round, the team is eager to play Egypt as the levels of enthusiasm are very high.
