Zambia Reelected on UNSECO Fund against Doping in Sports

Zambia has been re-elected to serve on the Approval Committee of the UNESCO Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport.

This was at the 9th Session of the UNESCO Conference of Parties (COP 9) to the International Convention against Doping in Sport taking pace in Paris, France.

And, Ministry of Youth and Sport Permanent Secretary KANGWA CHILESHE, who is leading a three Member Delegation to the COP9 says the re-election is a significant achievement for Zambia and demonstrates the confidence that the African continent has in the Zambia.

CHILESHE says the re-election reinforces the commitment by Zambia to continue providing leadership to other African countries through collective efforts to eliminate doping in sport.

This is according to a statement issued to ZNBC News by First Secretary for Press at the Zambian embassy in Paris, France NAOMI MWEEMBA.
