Zambia on way to connectivity for everyone

Technology and Science Minister, FELIX MUTATI says the country has made significant progress in building its digital infrastructure.

Mr MUTATI says Zambia is moving towards connecting everyone to super fast internet connection which is convenient and a plus to the country’s economic growth.

He says government has partnered with various cooperating partners in delivering skills in innovation in various high learning institutions in the country.

Mr. MUTATI told ZNBC News that government is working with the European Union -EU- to train students in water and solar engineering.

He added that the country recently connected optic fibre between Zambia and Angola which sets it apart from other countries in Africa in digital transformation.
