ZAMBIA DATES CREDITORS SOON

Finance Minister SITUMBEKO MUSOKOTWANE says government is expected to hold the second meeting with international creditors.

Dr. MUSOKOTWANE, who could NOT state the exact date of the meeting, says the engagement is expected to agree on how the national debt will be restructured.

He told Journalists in LUSAKA that immediately the debt is restructured the next step will be the implementation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme.

Zambia is looking for a 1.4 billion United States dollars IMF bailout package.
