ZAMBEZI RANCHING COMPANY PRAISED

Agriculture Minister, Michael Katambo has praised Zambezi Ranching and Cropping Company for coming up with open pollinated varieties of seed crops.

Mr. Katambo says the seed varieties have potential to increase farmers’ incomes through draught resistance and pest attack.

He said this in Mpongwe on the Copperbelt during a Provincial Field Day, organised by the Zambezi Ranching and Cropping Company in Kashiba Agricultural Camp.

And speaking at the same event, Director for Zambezi Ranching and Cropping Company, Kelvin Hambweza has praised government for doing well in developing the agricultural sector.
