ZAF Commander Challenges Red Arrows to win CAF Champions League

After winning the Super League title and Absa Cup, Zambia Air Force (ZAF) Commander Oscar Nyoni has challenged Red Arrows to summon their energies and win the CAF Champions League.

In an interview after the Super League title coronation ceremony, Lieutenant General Nyoni reminded Arrows that there is more work to do ahead of the prestigious CAF Champions League.

“Certainly as a commander I feel very proud, we are the champions. So it entails that we have a lot more work to do. We want to represent the country and to make the country proud.”

For us to win both the Absa Cup and the Super League, it means we are the best,” he said.

Nyoni said Arrows need to prove they are the best in Zambia by performing to expectation in Africa’s premier club competition.

“We have to prove that we are the best by winning even when we go for the continental
cup. Definitely the target is to become the champions in the continent. We are the champions of the country, so we have to become champions on the continent because we are going to represent the country,” he said
