ZAF Chief calls for preservation of military traditions

Zambia Air Force -ZAF Commander, COLIN BARRY has directed formation commanders to promote military traditions and etiquette through routine hosting of military functions and parades.

General BARRY says doing so will help strengthen junior officers and junior non-commissioned officers who need to be inducted into military traditions to preserve military culture and identity.

The ZAF commander was speaking in Livingstone on Friday evening when he officiated at this year’s ZAF officer’s annual Ball.

Speaking at the same event, Livingstone Station Commander, Colonel LIKE LIKE said preparations are being made for training of officer cadets supported by the Zambia Air Force Academy-ZAFA.
