WORKING ON CROSSING POINTS MP

Nchanga Member of Parliament Derrick Chilundika has directed the Chingola Municipal Council to start working on crossing points that are in deplorable state as the rainy season nears.

Speaking when he checked on some crossing points in Nchanga Constituency that need attention, Mr. Chilundika, who is Luapula Province Minister, has tasked the Council to ensure the bridges are worked on before the onset of rains.

Mr. Chilundika said government does not want to see delivery of services disrupted because some areas are not accessible.

He has urged the Council to immediately get on the ground and address the challenges adding that any delays on projects where materials are already available will not be tolerated.

Meanwhile, the Lawmaker has praised the Council for a complete takeover of markets.

And Chingola Town Clerk Kabombo Mutakela said the Council will by next week Friday have contractors on most crossing points that are in a deplorable state.
