Indeni Roses midfielder Rhoda Chileshe is optimistic her team will collect maximum points when they take on ZESCO Ndola Girls this weekend in a Ndola Derby at Trade Fair Grounds.

Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew, Chileshe who just recently recovered from an injury said she wants to do her best against her former team.

“The game against ZESCO won’t be easy, it’s a local Derby so I want to do my best because this game is very important to us as a team,” she said.

“Am not under pressure playing against my former team because we have been meeting so many times, but of course it is not easy playing the whole 90 minutes especially that am coming from an injury, but because of my experience, focus and mentality I managed to play the whole match so am very much ready for this game too,” she added.

Chileshe knows very well what kind of opposition her team will be facing but she’s not intimidated and she has promised a positive result to their fans.

“Tomorrow’s game won’t be easy like I earlier mentioned, but I promise after the last whistle, people should expect good results from us, we are not underrating any team but am talking about how prepared we are for this game. Believing in yourself is the first success.”

The last time Indeni Roses and ZESCO Ndola Girls met was 2 years ago at the Cage and the two teams shared the spoils in a 0-0 stalemate.

This match will be an early kick-off at 13:00hrs and will be the first-ever Zambian Women’s Super League match to be broadcasted live on ZNBC TV3 and televised on Top Star Decoders.
