WINA OFF TO MONGU

Vice President Inonge Wina is on Monday expected in Western Province for a two day visit.
The Vice President is expected to arrive in Mongu in the afternoon and call on the Litunga of the lozi people before paying a courtesy call on the provincial minister at the provincial administration.
According to the program released to ZANIS by the Office of the Vice President, Ms. Wina is on Tuesday expected to be in Kaoma District to drum up support for the PF candidate in the Mangango Parliamentary by election.
While in Kaoma, the Vice President is also expected to call on the traditional leadership before her scheduled political programs.
The Patriotic Front is fielded Goodwin Putu while the United Party for National Development is fielded Mwendoi Akakandelwa and Kadhandola Yuvwenu is standing on the National Democratic Congress party ticket.
Others contesting the Mangango seat are Kabindama Chingumbe of the United Prosperous and Peaceful Zambia.
The Mangango Parliamentary seat fell vacant after the death of the area Member of Parliament Naluwa Mwene who perished in a road traffic accident.
The Electoral Commission of Zambia has set November 20 as the day for election in Mangango, Lupososhi and other areas where there are local government by elections.
