We just need a win to go through – Nali

Zambia National Women’s Soccer Team Goalkeeper Hazel Nali has said they are prepared and ready for tomorrow’s crunch Tokyo 2020 Olympics Qualifier return match against Botswana.

Speaking in an interview with the ZamFoot Crew, Nali said the team has done their homework and are ready for the game.

“We have prepared and done everything that was needed and we are ready for tomorrow’s game,” Nali said.

She further said that they are looking forward to score more goals and avoid defeat because the 1-nil advantage they have going into this match doesn’t matter for now they just need to win at all cost.

“That 1-nil advantage is out for now. we are just hoping we can score more goals and obviously we don’t need a draw or lose we just need a win for us to go through,” she said.

Having kept a clean sheet in the first leg, Nali will be happy and hopes for the best as she carries on from there by staying focused, determined as well as working hard which is key to achieving victory.

“I think Its just need hardwork, focus and determination. Am happy to say if tomorrow I can keep a clean sheet it can be the best for the team,” she concluded.

Francistown Sports Complex will host the return match tomorrow at 19:00hrs with the Copper Queens needing a draw or victory of any scoreline to progress to the next round.
