We are still in contention for Continental football- Patrick Phiri

Lusaka Dynamos’s good Form was tested on Sunday in a week 14 fixture when they were handed a 2-1 losa by Red-hot Red Arrows at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

After losing three points in a boardroom decision Lusaka dynamos entered this match with hope of salvaging maximum points but Red Arrows Coach Chisi Mbewe and his team made sure that did not happen.

Phiri echoed his sentiments of disappointment regarding the loss to the Zamfoot crew shortly after the match saying his not pleased with the result.

“We are very disappointed that we have lost three points on this game and we also lost three points in the boardroom so we need to work hard,” He said.

“We lost our best striker Mugalu and without him it will be a different story but we are still in Contention for continental football if we work very hard then a spot is guaranteed,” Phiri explained to the ZamFoot crew.

Out of the fourteen games played Lusaka Dynamos has won six drawn 6 and lost 3 which has seen them occupy fourth place with 23 points.
