Zambia Women’s national team will tomorrow take on Botswana in a third round 2020 Olympics qualifier first leg match at Nkoloma stadium.

Speaking at the pre match press briefing both Coach Gaoletho Ronaldoh Nkutwisan and Team captain Banang Bebeto Otihagile declared the team ready to compete.

“We are here in zambia to compete, we are ready for tomorrow’s game. We have seen Zambia play at cosafa and so we know what to expect. We are in high spirit after beating South Africa and going into tomorrow’s we will have to approach it in a different way,” Coach Nkutwisan said.

The last time Zambia and Botswana met was at this year’s cosafa tournament were zambia dismantled Botswana 4-0 in the semi finals.

“I would say this is a different team to that played Zambia at cosafa cause at that we were in slovakia preparing for South Africa. This is a game of football, it’s not about what happened in the past but what will happen tomorrow,” Bostwana Captain Bebeto told the ZamFoot Crew.

Winner over both legs qualifies to the next round where they will meet the winner between the Ghana and Kenya tie.

The game will be played at Nkoloma stadium with tickets being sold at K50 Vip and K10 all round.
