VULGAR LANGUAGE IRKS BIGOCA

The Bible Gospel Church in Africa -BIGOCA- says the church will disown any politician that does not abide by the Christian values of the nation.

BIGOCA General Overseer Archbishop Peter Ndhlovu says a person that is aspiring to become a father of the nation cannot go around issuing statements with unpalatable language

Archbishop Ndhlovu says the church welcomes politicians with a view of uniting them but will not hesitate to condemn behaviour that does not conform with Christian values.

He told ZNBC News in a telephone interview that politics of desperation are not good for the development of the country.

Archbishop Ndhlovu said if such people are voted into office, it may endanger the Christian values of the nation.

Meanwhile, The Zambian DNA has called on opposition political parties to use palatable language as they campaign.

Zambian DNA Spokesperson Spuki Mulemwa says use of unpalatable language and hate speech is uncalled for and should not be entertained by all well-meaning Zambians.

Mr. Mulemwa told ZNBC News in a telephone interview that Zambia is a Christian nation which cannot entertain hate speech by leaders.

He said anyone aspiring for the highest office in the land must be able to communicate decently.

A video is circulating on social media in which UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema is using unpalatable language at a campaign rally.
