Victoria Falls Risk Being Lost Warns ECL

(Sky News)President Edgar Lungu has warned of the risk of losing natural wonders like the Victoria Falls if action isn’t taken soon on climate change.In an exclusive interview with Sky News of Britain from the State House in Lusaka President Lungu said climate change is having a devastating effect – and the impact is being felt most of all in developing countries such as Zambia.Mr Lungu said there is still hope, but only if rich countries do more to mitigate the results of global warming and help less well-off nations cope.Drought has reduced the water levels of one of the world’s natural wonders to its lowest level in about 25 years.President Lungu said this in an interview with Sky News of Britain’s Special Correspondent Alex Crawford and monitored by ZNBC News in Lusaka.
