VEEP urges farmers to get ready for 2018/2019 farming season

Vice President Inonge Wina has called on farmers in the country to gear themselves for the forthcoming 2018/2019 farming season.

Mrs. Wina says this is because minister of agriculture Michael Katambo has assured her office  that farming inputs will be delivered soon in readiness for the 2018-2019 farming season.

ZANIS reports that speaking on arrival at Solwezi airport today, Mrs. Wina urged farmers to start preparing their fields.

And Mrs. Wina who is also ruling PF vice president notes that the continued visits to North Western Province by the party leadership is an indication that government cares for the people in the area.

Mrs. Wina is in the province on a one day working visit to inspect developmental projects  in Solwezi, Kasempa and Zambezi districts.
