VEEP TOASTS KK BIRTHDAY

Vice President Inonge Wina says leaders should continue observing former President Kenneth Kaunda’s visionary leadership.

Mrs. Wina says as a junior freedom fighter, she is reminded of the visionary leadership Dr. Kaunda provided.

The Vice President who visited Dr Kaunda at his residence to wish him a happy 97th birthday said current leaders should continue to follow his footsteps of humility and caring for Zambians.

Mrs. Wina said despite Dr Kaunda’s legacy being too huge to fit in, the current leadership is learning from his humility and the love he had for Zambians.

She also presented flowers and cashew nuts to Dr. Kaunda as a reminder of his vision to create an industrious Zambia.

And Dr. Kaunda has thanked the leadership for the love and care shown to him during his birthday and has since blessed Zambia and all the leaders.
