VEEP TIPS TERTIARY INSTITUTIONS

By Mary Kachepa:

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has called on tertiary institutions to be innovative and increase online teaching.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says tertiary institutions must take lessons from the technology interventions induced by the Covid -19 pandemic, where high breed and total online learning have been adopted by most Higher learning institutions globally.

She says Zambia has also benefited from this learning despite the fact that contact learning is still required in some cases.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says with the free education policy in force, there is need to expand boarding and classroom space.

She was speaking when she opened the Annual General Meeting for the Christian Colleges and Universities Association in Lusaka today.

Mrs. NALUMANGO said government values the association of Christian Colleges and Universities.

Meanwhile, Christian Colleges and Universities Association Chairperson LAZAROUS PHIRI committed to complement government’s effort in the provision of Higher education and ensure they send out professionals who will be Patriotic and corrupt free.
