UPND Pick Felix Ngoma for Kaumbwe parliamentary seat

Lazarous Sichula-The ruling UPND has picked FELIX NGOMA as its candidate for the October 21st Parliamentary election in Kaumbwe Constituency of Petauke District, Eastern Province.

The party has also adopted candidates that will contest in the Chisamba and Lusangazi District Council chairperson elections slated for October 21, 2021.

Mr. FRED CHONGO will to contest the Chisamba District council chairperson election, while FRED BANDA is candidate for Lusangazi, Council Chairperson Position.

UPND chairperson for elections GARRY NKOMBO disclosed this during a press briefing in Lusaka this evening.

The Electoral Commission of Zambia -ECZ- has set Thursday the 30th of September as the date for filing of nominations for the one Parliamentary election, two District Council Chairperson elections and four local government elections.
