UPND has Put Measures to Stablize Mealie Meal Prices-Mweetwa

UPND Spokesperson CORNELIUS MWEETWA says the UPND administration has put measures in place to stabilise the prices of mealie-meal.

Mr. MWEETWA, who is also Southern Province Minister, says Government is aware of the high cost of the staple food.

He says some of the measures is to ensure access to cheaper fertilizer so that small scale farmers can produce more maize grain.

Speaking during ZNBC’s SUNDAY Interview, Mr MWEETWA said right now Government has already positioned and distributed compound D to all districts in readiness to be accessed by Farmers.
