UPND GOVT TO FULFILL CAMPAIGN PROMISES -VEEP

Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO says the Government will deliver its campaign promises to Zambians.

Mrs. NALUMANGO says the government has already started delivering as seen from the 1.2 billion Kwacha paid to some farmers who supplied maize to the Food Reserve Agency -FRA-.

The Vice President was speaking upon arrival at Mongu Airport in Western Province for a one day working visit.

Mrs. NALUMANGO who thanked the people of Mongu for voting for the UPND in the August 12, 2021 general election said President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA is focused on implementing his campaign promises and will ensure development reaches all parts of the country.

She said Mongu has been allocated 51.4 million kwacha to address the various challenges the district is facing.

Mrs. NALUMANGO added that the- UPND will ensure all roads are worked on in the province as this will promote trade and other economic activities.

The Vice President has since proceeded to Senanga for Campaigns.
