UPND FLOCK DEFECTS TO PF

Over 100 UPND members have joined the ruling party in Lufwanyama district on the Copperbelt province.
ZANIS reports that those that have joined PF where received by PF District Chairperson Justin Mulenga and other district party officials.
And Mr. Mulenga encouraged the new members to feel free and interact with old members at any party level.
And speaking on behalf of the new members, Ackson Kunda said they have decided to leave the UPND because of the massive development they have witnessed from the PF government.
Mr. Kunda also said PF under the leadership of President Edgar Lungu has proved to be a pro-poor party dedicated to uplifting the welfare of people in the country.
But when contacted UPND Secretary Stephen Katuka told ZNBC News that reports that its members had defected are false.
Mr Katuka said that the party has not received any report that its members had joined to the PF.
