UNZA WORKERS ASSURED OF SALARY

 
The University of Zambia- UNZA- Management has assured all unionised workers at the Learning institution that they will soon receive their salaries.
UNZA Public Relations Officer Damaseke Chibale says the institution is awaiting government to release funds.
Mr. Chibale says management has addressed workers and urged them to remain calm as they await their salaries.
He was speaking to ZNBC news in a telephone interview in Lusaka.
However, University of Zambia Lecturers and researches union President Evance Lampi said his members have resolved to go back to work once they are paid.
Meanwhile, the lecturers go slow has entered day.
