Unza medical students happy with health workers recruitment

The University of Zambia Ridgeway Campus Student Union has praised President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA for his ongoing dedication to enhancing Zambia’s health sector.

The Union has also extended the praise to Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO.

UNZASU Ridgeway Campus President RODGERS TEMBO says as the top public Medical University in Zambia, it is their responsibility to acknowledge and engage on developments in the health sector.

Mr. TEMBO says the Union is also grateful for the recent recruitment of volunteer health workers, which underscores the government’s commitment to strengthening healthcare services in the country.

He said the commitment and hard work demonstrated by the volunteers makes invaluable contributions to Zambia’s healthcare system.

Mr. TEMBO said the University of Zambia is dedicated to excellence and societal advancement and ready to support and collaborate with the government in furthering initiatives aimed at improving healthcare delivery in Zambia.
