Under-20 set for Ecuador test

The Under-20 men’s national soccer team will open its campaign on Saturday at the Four Nations Invitational Tournament with a match against Ecuador.

Coach Beston Chambeshi is leading his charges in warm up matches ahead of the FIFA World Cup from May 20 to June 11.

The participants in the Four Nations Tournament are Ecuador, Honduras and hosts South Korea.

Team manager Daniel Jere told Fazfootball.com from Seoul that the team was without Zanaco midfielder Boyd Siame who had remained in Zambia due to a family bereavement.

The African champions are lodged at the Ibis Ambassador Hotel in Seoul.

The tournament runs from March 24 to 31 and will be played on a round robin basis.
