UCZ NODS CHURCH’S CONTRIBUTION

The United Church of Zambia says the contribution of the Church to the development of the country has been visible especially in the areas.
UCZ Synod Bishop Sydney Sichilima this has helped to reduce poverty in such areas.
Reverend Sichilima was speaking during a ground breaking and tree planting ceremony for the construction of the united Church of Zambia retreat and rehabilitation center in Kafue district.
And speaking at the same event UCZ General Secretary Peggy Kabonde said the project will significantly improve the lives of the people and provide a great impetus for development.
Meanwhile, Synod Mission and evangelism secretary Morgan Silwenga said the center will provide a conducive environment for reflection, prayer and spiritual formation which will contribute to Zambia as a Christian nation.
Reverend Silwenga said the project will cost over 20 million kwacha.
