UCL: Fashion Sakala Jnr starts for Rangers

Zambian forward Fashion Sakala Jnr has been named in the starting lineup for FC Rangers who welcome Holland outfit Ajax in the UEFA Champions League group stage match day six encounter. 

Sakala starts on the right wing with Ryan Kent on the left while Antonio Colak leads the attack. 

Sakala put in a brilliant shift over the weekend as FC Rangers cruised to a  4-1 win over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership. 

Head coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst has made three changes to his Rangers side for the final Group A fixture in the UEFA Champions League.

Steven Davis, Borna Barisic and Scott Arfield replace Ben Davies, Ridvan Yilmaz and John Lundstram as the Light Blues look to sign off with a victory in front of a home crowd.

It means Allan McGregor retains his place between the posts, behind a backline of James Tavernier, James Sands, Leon King and Barisic.

The experienced Davis anchors the midfield, with the Northern Irishman joined by Arfield and Malik Tillman.

It’s an unchanged forward line from the victory over Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership at the weekend, with Antonio Colak leading the charge alongside Ryan Kent and Fashion Jr.

Among the substitutes for Rangers are Jon McLaughlin, Robby McCrorie, Adam Devine, Robbie Fraser, Connor Allan, Glen Kamara, Alex Lowry, Rabbi Matondo, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Wright.

Rangers are looking to push for a place in the UEFA Europa League but need a 5-0 win to finish third in the group.
