Zambia under 20 Women’s Team Coach, CHARLES HAALUBONO says the team has done its homework and will beat Ghana in tomorrow’s 2022 Costa Rica world cup qualifier first leg encounter.

Coach HAALUBONO says the team has undertaken the necessary preparations for the first leg to be staged at the Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

He says the team is fully aware of the threat that Ghana can pose.

HAALUBONO was speaking during a pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s encounter billed for 15:00 hours.

He said the team is not under pressure but will use the home ground advantage to bury the game.

HAALUBONO further expressed optimism that the team will build on the 8-1 aggregate win against Malawi in the first round to set the pace against the Ghanaian team.

And, Ghana Coach BEN FOKUO is confident of pulling a victory away from home.

FOKUO said the team has gained enough experience that can guarantee a victory despite the game against Zambia being an uphill battle.

Meanwhile, Zambia U-20 Captain EVARINE KATONGO and her Ghanaian counterpart EVERLYN BADU are both confident of winning and disclosed that players from either squad are eager to face off.

And Football Association of Zambia-FAZ- Communications Manager SYDNEY MUNGALA said tickets for the game have gone on sale for the 3- thousand spectators that have been allowed for the game.
