Two UTH officials nabbed for theft of latex gloves

Two University Teaching Hospital -UTH- officials have been arrested for allegedly stealing 40 Boxes of latex Gloves.

The suspects are LYDIA CHITA 40, a Human Resource Officer, and MUYUNDA NYAMBE 37, an Assistant Procurement Officer.

Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, DANNY MWALE says the suspects are alleged to have stolen 40 boxes, from the health facility, which they were about to transport out of Lusaka in the night.

Mr. MWALE says the suspects took the boxes to Intercity Bus Terminus, where they were discovered by one of the Ministry of Health Security personnel, who was tipped by a concerned member of the public.

He explained that during interrogation, the suspects could not immediately explain why they took the boxes to Intercity Bus Terminus.
