TSC DISTRICT COMMITTEES COUNSELLED

By ZANIS:

Northern Province Minister, Chungu Bwalya has urged members of the newly constituted District Human Resource Management Committees (HRMC’s) for the Teaching Service Commission in the province to avoid engaging themselves in any forms of corruption.

Mr. Bwalya says he expects members of the committees to be above board when executing their duties.

The Minister charged that it is for this reason that the committee members are expected to discharge their duties diligently and within the set standards.

Mr. Bwalya said this when he officiated at the orientation meeting for the Human Resources Management Committee Members in Luwingu district.

The provincial Minister expressed confidence that the formulation of the district committees will enhance quality service delivery for the development of the teaching fraternity.

Meanwhile, the Teaching Service Commission (TSC) Commissioner, Nicholas Malama said the service will continue with the  stakeholder engagement strategy in a bid to develop the institutional implementation framework.

Mr. Malama expressed confidence that the human resource reforms will bring a paradigm shift in the manner human resource management will be handled in the teaching service.

And Northern Province Education Officer, Grace Sinkolongo said the launch of the district human resource management committees in the province is timely.
