Triumph Foundation surprises needy communities

(Lusaka 20-12-2020) – In fulfillment of the gospel principle of sharing with the needy in society, Triumphant Foundation Trust (TFT) on Sunday surprised the widows and orphans Orphans with assorted goods and food staff.
TFT Executive Officer (CEO) Holla Kunda Simbeye told journalist in an interview on the sidelines of the donation that the beneficiaries that converged at Sons and daughters of light church came from Chipata compound and the surrounding area.
Simbeye said 100 bags of mealie meal, 100 containers of 2.5 litres cook oil, 100 packets of bullets soap, and pockets of sugar all valued at about 100, 000 was donated.
For now, Simbeye said the donation is coming from the family basket which she and her husband has been saving.
The money we bought these items came from our savings but we are praying to God that some day donors will come on bold to supplement this effort of reaching out to the needy people.
She said the donation is targeting over 120 widows and several other orphans who cannot afford to fend for themselves.
She said this act of charity has been going on for close to two years now and which a lot has been achieved.
Besides feeding the poor, Simbeye said, the foundation has been sending students to schools, including colleges.
She said every Monday the Foundation visit Chainama prison aupport the convicts and on Tuesdays the foundation goes to Chipata clinic to feed the patients.
She disclosed that the foundation is not only here in Lusaka but also in other province and soon it will go worldwide.
She decided to form this found a charity organisation to be touching the vulnerable people including widows and orphans in the Zambian society.
TFT director General Simbeye urged the people who have not only to be on the lookout but also ensuring that those who don’t are looked after.
Simbeye said giving should not always be associated with festival seasons but an act which is in born to many people.
He observed that all the people have challenges in one way or another but blessed abundantly should take it upon themselves to look after the need people in society.
He said the resources which those have does not belong to them but God who ask them to be the custodians.
God has given those who have a task to look after his resources and must also look after the needy people in society.
Unless they share, the riches, God will not continue to bless them with the resources.
And speaking when he graced the event Indepwndent Church of Zambia (ICOZ) president Bishop David Masupa reiterated the importance of honoring the widows and orphans saying it was a biblical principle.
Bishop Masupa who is also ZDA board chairperson told journalists that the TFT is not just giving out essential goods to charity but is also expressing sincere love to the vulnerable.
This is in fulfillment fo the biblical directive made by jesus when you took care of me I was in need.”
He said he was accepted to be guest of honor in his capacity as board chairperson for ZDA so that he can not only support the Foundation but also link it to other strategic partners who will support the efforts.
Liberty Ministries Bishop Dr. Eddie Mulenga from  said true religion is able to help the need people, including the widows and orphans in society
Bishop Mulenga said the call to all church’s is not to be self centered but to look after the needy people in the proximity areas.
He said there many people in society today that need to be assisted by those who have a lot spare.
He said during advent of COVID-19, there were many people who could not have a means to secure even face mask becsuse all their closed.
He said the churches and pastors were pn to reach out to them and managed put a smile on their faces.
He advised the churches and pastors not only to reach out to the needy in their churches but to all those that need help in the surrounding areas.
He invited those that have the desire to provide for the need to partner with the Triumphant Foundation Trust and render the desired help.
