There Is Rot In The Teaching Profession- Claims Former DC
Former Choma District Commissioner, Nkolola Hazemba says the teaching profession has decayed in morals.
Hazemba has told Byta FM News that teachers used to be torch bearers in every community but not anymore.
He has attributed the loss of morality to mushrooming sub standard colleges in the country and has called on government to put up stronger monitoring systems.
Hazemba has also advised government to reinforce the teaching curriculum at tertiary level in order to uphold professionalism in the sector.
Hazemba a former teacher has called on teachers in the country to refrain from vices that might bring their professionalism down in order to build a good reputation.
