The train of Dialogue has started moving – MMD Veep

Movement for Multi-party Democracy (MMD) Vice President Bishop Reuben Sambo has said that the train of Dialogue has started moving and will not stop until it reaches its destination of Peace and Reconciliation. In an interview, Bishop Sambo who was the head of the opposition MMD delegation at the launch of the National Dialogue at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross said that the Church was the rightful institution to guide the National Dialogue without fear or favour.

Society has always looked to the Church for guidance whenever need arises.” The Church has always resolved differences in Society without fear nor favour and the current dialogue process will not be any different”, Bishop Sambo said. Bishop Sambo further called upon all those who shunned yesterday’s launch to immediately jump on the bandwagon before the train reaches its destination. “As the Mother of Democracy in Zambia, We would like to take this opportunity to advise all the stakeholders who didn’t make it to today’s launch due to reasons best known to themselves to reconsider their position in the interest of mother Zambia and join the National dialogue. The train of the dialogue has started moving and no one will stop it until it reaches its destination of Peace and Reconciliation,” Bishop Sambo said.
