TERTIARY FEES REDUCTION PLAN CHEERS NUPPEZ

By Mary Kachepa- The National Union of Public and Private Educators of Zambia -NUPPEZ- has welcomed President Edgar Lungu’s pronouncement that there will be consideration to reduce tuition fees in tertiary institutions.

NUPPEZ National General Secretary Nelson Mwale has thanked President LUNGU for his intentions to want to reduce fees because many young people struggle to get into tertiary institutions because of high fees.

Mr. Mwale said his union is ready to be consulted and help to share a road map on how the reduction can be implemented.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mwale has also congratulated President Lungu and the Patriotic Front for conducting democratic intra party elections and a convention.

He was speaking in a walk-in interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka today.
