Technocrats challenged to Help Youths with Business Proposals

The ruling UPND on the Copperbelt have urged technocrats in the financial sector to take deliberate steps to help young people with bankable business proposals.

UPND Copperbelt Provincial Youth Chairperson, WALLEN HINYAMA says the party has noted with concern that a number of youths with brilliant business ideas are sidelined on account that they cannot present a written business proposal.

Mr. HINYAMA told ZNBC that institutions like Banks and Ministries involved in the empowering of citizens should come up with a deliberate project to identify and support youths in rural and urban areas that are doing well with their businesses.

He said it will be hard for young people to benefit from the economic progress that will come as a result of reviving the mines and securing the debt restructuring if they are not assisted.

Mr. HINYAMA said President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has demonstrated good will by working hard to revive the economy so that citizens who include young people can benefit from the gesture.
