Tech Expert Tips Zambia on ITC Use for Growth

By Brian Mwale- A technology expert has observed that Zambia’s fast-growing economy needs to move in tandem with the growth in the Information Communication Technology -ICT – sector.RA Consulting Services Zambia Managing Director Saurabh Saini whose company is a supplier of tech equipment says the growth of Zambia’s economy needs to be supported by ICTs.He has however expressed happiness with ICT penetration in Zambia.Speaking on the sidelines of the first ever Tech expo dubbed Techno Zam in Lusaka today, Mr. Saini noted that the platform will allow establishment of business linkages between major global tech companies and local businesses.Mr. Saini said many global companies are taking part in the expo to explain their latest innovations owing to the increased need in Zambia.And Hewlett Packard Enterprise Representative Jean-Sebastien Vincent said Zambia promises to be a good market for his company.
