TEACHERS IN KITWE TAKE OATH

By Paul Shalala

Hundreds of teachers in Kitwe have taken oath to invigilate the forthcoming Grade Nine examinations in an exercise which authorities do not want to be marred with irregularities.

Kitwe District Education Board Secretary Christopher Nyungila, who presided over the ceremony at Hellen Kaunda Secondary School, says he will not spare any teacher who will be found wanting during the examination period.

Mr Nyungila has asked all invigilators to be professional and patriotic.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of General Education has provided a brand-new Nissan Hardbody to the District Education Board Secretary’s office in Kitwe to improve monitoring of education programs in the district.

Unveiling the vehicle, Mr Nyungila said mobility will now be easy for his office.
