TASILA SUES FOUR FOR DEFAMATION

Chawama Member of Parliament TASILA LUNGU has sued FOUR people in connection with a story were they alleged that she was being investigated by the Anti Corruption Commission -ACC- for buying a Bank.

The four are SIMON CHITAMBALA, Black Swan Media Limited of Crown TV Zambia, JEFF MBEWE and MWAMBA CHIKONKA of The candidate as well as DAVIES SHACHINDA of Southern Classic Media.

According to the statement of Claim, Ms. LUNGU says the defendants went ahead and accused her despite the ACC having not named the person that they were investigation.

She has since urged the court to ask the defendants to pay her for the damages suffered as well as withdraw the statements using the same media that was used to publish them.
