Take up the agenda on food security,Veep urges women

Hannock Kasama-Vice President MUTALE NALUMANGO has challenged women to be part of the agenda to improve Zambia’s food Security through agriculture diversification.

Ms. NALUMANGO says with sufficient financial support, women are capable of contributing immensely towards programmes aimed at improving the country’s food security.

She has expressed happiness that the banking sector now has more products tailored towards the financial needs of women.

Mrs. NALUMANGO was speaking in LUSAKA last night during the launch of ” Zee Women Banking Product” by Zambia National Commercial Bank-ZANACO.

And ZANACO Board Member CHEARYP SOKONI said the Bank will enhance women’s access to financial facilities.

Meanwhile, ZANACO Chief Executive Officer MUKWANDI CHIBESAKUNDA said her bank aims at facilitating more financial facilities and services among women.
