SWIMMING UNION TO ROLL OUT THE SPORT

The Zambia Swimming Union- ZASU-says it will roll out swimming programmes to various parts of the country in a bid to develop the sport.
ZASU- Vice President Adewale Grillo says the country has talented swimmers and will work towards grooming young boys through introducing them to swimming lessons in schools across the country.
Grillo said initiatives like the learn to swim program are currently under way.
He said the association want to broaden its selection pool ahead of the upcoming international and regional tournaments.
The ZASU Vice President has since revealed that the 28 swimmers have been selected to represent the country at the Cana Zone IV Championship slated for Namibia next month.
Grillo said the swimmers have since intensified preparations and will be taking part in the 3rd League gala to be held on Mufulira on the Copperbelt this weekend.
Meanwhile Zambia last year finished top of the score board amassing 82 medals and will this year seek to maintain their dominance at CANA Zone IV games be held from February 16th to the 20th 2018.
