Suspected monkey pox case under probe

Mary Kachepa-The Ministry of Health is investigating a suspected case of monkey pox in a 23-year-old female who travelled to the United States of America two weeks ago.

The patient is currently in isolation and a team of infectious diseases specialists are carrying out further investigations.

Health Minister SYLVIA MASEBO said during the COVID-19 update today that the lady is reported to have experienced headache and an on-off fever five days ago.
