SUPER LEAGUE TITLE SUPREMACY RAGES ON

The MTN Supper league title supremacy rages on as teams continue to exchange positions in the top four.
Defending champions Zesco United leaped on second position after teaching visiting Konkola Blades football lessons by leaving it late to beat the Chililabombwe boys by 2-0.
This was followed by Green Eagles’ NIL all draw away to INDENI in Ndola.
ZESCO, scored through THABANI KAMUSOKO in the 79 and , ENOCK SAKALA Junior in the 87 minute respectively, making long, KONKOLA BLADES’ journey back home in Chililabombe.
The win for ZESCO has pushed the Malaiti boys to second place on 47 points exchanging positions with GREEN Eagles who now lay third on 46 points.
Meanwhile, Red Arrows have matched on, at the top of the log with exciting performance as they walloped visiting Buildcon by 3-1 in a double header fixture played at Nkoloma stadium in Lusaka.
RICKY BANDA’s brace with ALLASSANE DIARRA’s early goal were enough to beat Buildcon, who however managed to find a consolation through super sub JONATHAN MANONGO.
Earlier at the same venue, Nkwazi and their fellow strugglers Lusaka Dynamos settled for a 2-2 all draw.
The win for the AIR men cements their top position on 52 points.
Elsewhere, Chambishi beat visiting Prison Leopards by 2-0 while Kabwe Warriors draw 1-1 all with Forest Rangers.
Surprise package, Kansanshi Dynamos continued on their victory path as JESSE WERE’s fifth league goal, in the 14th minute was enough to silence the visiting Green Buffaloes whose early scare in the league seems to have vanished.
In Kitwe, Nkana beat Kafue Celtic by 2-0 to move forth on the table on 40 points, a result that is likely to bring ceasefire between the executive and the technical bench following days of debate as who is suppose to be sidelined following the team’s recent poor show.
